How to back-up an iPhone with iCloud

It is always good practice to backup your data whether itis from your iPhone, laptop or camera.

Before you drop-off your iPhone or have it collected for a repair by Bullit we recommend that you back-up your iPhone’s data in case of any accidental data loss and then disable touch ID so that our technician can fully test your iPhone before returning it.

How to back-up your iPhone without the use of a computer.

Step One: Connect your device to a Wi-Fi network.

You can in some cases do a back-up over cellular data / 4G, however, it can take longer and use lots of your data allowance.

Step Two: iCloud Back-up

  1. Go to Settings > [your name], and tap iCloud. If you’re using iOS 10.2 or earlier, go to Settings, then scroll down and tap iCloud.
  2. Tap iCloud Backup. If you’re using iOS 10.2 or earlier, tap Backup. Make sure that iCloud Backup is turned on.
  3. Tap Back Up Now. Stay con
    nected to your Wi-Fi network until the process completes.
  4. You can check the progress and confirm the backup completed. Go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud > iCloud Backup. Under Back Up Now, you’ll see the date and time of your last backup
